What is the difference between a project refresh and a remodel?

09/01/2013 by studio@shannonchristensen.com

Refresh

This usually includes rearranging, replacing or reupholstering furniture, new window coverings, pillows, rugs and accessories.  Possibly a coat of fresh paint.

Remodel

This includes installed items, such as new cabinets, countertops, tile, fixtures, flooring, moving or removing walls.  Extensive work with a contractor is typically included in this category.
